How Brazilian residents can legally remit funds, hold property and report Dubai real-estate assets to the Receita Federal under current Brazilian rules.

Remittance framework

Bilateral notes

Brazil and the UAE signed a Double Taxation Agreement in 2018, in force since 2022. Rental income may be subject to Brazilian carnê-leão on the resident owner. This guide is informational and does not replace professional tax advice.
